(This prophetic dream was given by a friend of our House of Prayer.)
On 24 December 2021, someone had a dream for me (Kay Chong). In the dream, I was facing a big analogue clock and proclaiming, “It’s 7:69am!”
The Lord rebuked me through this person with this: “Tell the young man, it’s not 7:69am — it’s 8:09am.” (7:69am is also 8:09am.) God highlighted that even though I had stepped into a new season, I was still seeing through the lens of the old season.
The number “7” represents “perfection”, which points to the end of the old season. The number “8” represents a “new beginning” — we have crossed over into a new season in God’s timeline. The fact that it was 8:09am (and not PM) signified the dawn of a new day.
We need to see that we are in a new season, as out of comfort and the familiarity of what worked in the past, we may continue functioning the way we did in the old season. However, this is not what God desires for us — He wants us to put on a new lens for the new season. We also need a new wineskin in order to be able to move with the Lord in this new season.
