SYNOPSIS
Whether we admit it or not, every person in pursuit of God has struggled to feel His presence. Thankfully, God has given us gifts to help us develop intimacy with Christ.
During this FSI Weekend, we will address how to develop and enjoy a vital relationship with Christ, our Bridegroom. We will discover and discuss the seasons of intimacy every believer goes through that mirror the seasons of most nations of the earth: Disclosure (Spring), Passion (Summer), Stripping (Fall/Autumn), and Cave Dwelling (Winter).
We will look at the rewards of intimacy, what Bible mentors can teach us about spiritual intimacy, and how the practice of prayer encourages and opens the door to a more intimate lifestyle with Jesus. Lastly, we will also look at intimacy-killers – things such as fretting in prayer that will sabotage us and lead us away from a closer walk with Jesus.

SPEAKERS
Alice Smith is one of the most qualified persons to teach and minister on this topic because of her history with the LORD and her intimate walk with Jesus. – C. Peter Wagner
Alice Smith is cofounder and executive director of the U.S. PRAYER CENTER in Houston, Texas.
She is a member of America’s National Prayer Committee, the International Reconciliation Coalition, and the International Strategic Prayer Network. Alice has earned her Doctorate of Ministry from Wagner Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Alice’s first calling is to intercessory prayer and to represent a life of integrity and transparency to the body of Christ.
Alice conducts seminars, retreats and conferences, both locally and internationally, on a variety of subjects including intercessory prayer, spiritual intimacy, personal freedom, spiritual warfare, and spiritual mapping.
She is a regular contributor to Charisma, Ministries Today, Spirit-Led Woman, and Pray! magazines. Alice is a regular guest on CBN’s 700 Club, and an occasional guest on Benny Hinn’s, This is Your Day.
She is the editor of Insight, a weekly teaching email newsletter that goes to thousands of praying Christians in more than 70 nations. In addition, she and Eddie offer a 52-week free Internet course on prayer that serves to train Christians worldwide who have few resources.
Her favorite activities are to enjoy her family, spend time with her husband, and play games with her four grown children and five grandchildren.

Kay-Chong Yeo is director of International House of Prayer – One Thing Ministries in Singapore, a ministry of prayer with worship in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David. He has served the LORD as a pastor among the youths and young adults for 15 years in one of the local churches in Singapore.
In 2002, the Lord gave him a new mandate to establish a 24/7 House of Prayer in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David, to be His voice in calling believers into intimacy with God and to proclaim the message of the forerunners in these Last Days. Since then, he has been ministering and proclaiming these messages in Singapore and in various countries in Asia. He has an intense desire to see others grow in the knowledge of Christ and understand what is on God’s heart for a unique time like this.
