Day 1There is only one way to eternal life, and that is through calling on the name of Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The Jewish people are not automatically saved for being the physical descendants of Abraham. Their zeal and their righteous acts cannot lead them to salvation. Salvation for them too is only by grace by faith in Yeshua Hamaschiach (Jesus the Messiah). The Jewish people’s rejection of their Messiah led to the Gospel going to the Gentile nations, but this blindness is neither final nor complete (Rom. 11:25). When the fullness of the Gentiles happens, all Israel will be saved (Rom. 11:25–26). It is critical to pray for the salvation of the Jewish people because the return of Jesus is dependent on the nation of Israel turning to Yeshua as their Messiah (Matt. 23:37–39, Acts 3:19–21). Consequently, the return of Jesus, together with Israel’s national salvation, is critical for the fullness of God’s redemptive plan for all mankind to unfold across the nations, and for His glory to cover the earth (Hab. 2:14). Thus, Paul says that their national salvation will be “life from the dead” for the world (Rom. 11:15). Pray for the salvation of the Jewish people today! How To Pray:

Day 2The context of this verse specifically refers to a time when Israel will face immense persecution and be utterly plundered by her enemies (Isa. 42:22, 24–25). The Lord highlighted that by the time we enter the New Era of the 2030’s, Israel will become a major point of contention globally. While Israel’s return to her land has always been a divisive issue since it happened in 1948, there will be an acceleration in hostility towards Israel during this decade. Already, antisemitism is on the rise worldwide and there are even advocates around the world who promote the view that the Holocaust of World War II did not actually happen! The time is nearer than we think when we will see Biblical End-Time prophecies about Israel’s persecution coming to pass. Thus, the God of Israel is summoning us as believers in Him to prepare for the time that is to come. He is inviting us to unite our hearts in oneness with His for the apple of His eye. From that place of alignment with Him, He is calling us to stand with her in prayer and for her as an advocate (Isa. 62:6–7). |
